"'In the arithmetic of LOVE, one plus one equals everything, and two minus one equals nothing"

So when I am asked to design, I'm thinking Minimalist and Romantic but like, Vintage without being Gatsby and slightly Boho, Sexy, Traditional but with Exclusive Bold vibes... Poornima Sharma

Amritbir weds Yadwinder

Amritbir is a gorgeous simple Girl who wanted to look unique, Sexy, Classy yet Artistic Punjabi Bride for her Reception.

I designed for her a  Taffetta Silk Kalidaar Lehenga with Antique Gold Gotta work with Multicoloured Tussar Silk Embroidery Choli Blouse with Gold Latkans (Thread Ties) & Pure Chiffon Duppatta with Antique Gotta and Kirans.

Instead of wearing the typical Gold Jewellery I got her to wear German Silver/Brass Choker set with a Kundan Passa on the side of  her head.

Ajooni weds Gurnam

Ajooni connected with me through Zoom while she lived in India. She fell in love with my designs and my brand the minute her husband Gurnam (who lives in Sydney) showed her my page and my style.

Ajooni wanted to wear a Saree for her Wedding Reception, unlike Punjabi Brides who normally don't much wear Sarees, she felt she wanted to look unique and exclusive. So I designed her a Gold Banarasi Silk Gold Saree with Antique Gold Beads all around the borders and paired it with a Pure Banarasi Silk Blouse with Latkans (Thread Ties).

She did not only nail the look but carried the Saree so beautifully.

Kersha & Thinesh

Traditional Wedding

Thinesh (Groom) I designed his Kurta top in Cotton Silk with Gold Zari backing & Zardozi mix Gotta work neck line. His Dhotti was in Tussar Silk. To complete the aesthetics of the whole outfit I designed his Duppatta/Shawl in Kashmiri Georgette/Gold thread works with Gold Zari backing.

Look 1. Kersha (Bride) wore Handcrafted Banarasi Silk Saree (Bottle Green/Emerald Green) with Zardozi/Banarasi Borders & Pure Silk Blouse with Dabka/ Zardozi Embroidery.

We chose Kundan & Semi precious stones Temple Jewellery to go with the first part of the look as it complemented the Saree Zardozi borders.

Look 2. Kersha chose to wear her own Saree but I paired it with Pure Banarasi Jali work Red Blouse & matched it with Antique Gold Temple Jewellery.
